UBT Talk – Jeffrey, Raoul, Zaz: Three short Talks from all around the World
27. Mai 2020 @ 19:00 - 20:30
This event features three short talks by aspiring game devs from all over the world – Jeffrey, Raoul, Zaz:
Jeffrey – From Dreamer to Tamer
Jeffrey, a young-and-ongoing indie developer, chronicles their start and the many lessons they received from being involved in high-profile game projects, a commercial Steam release, and more.
Raoul – Persistence, research and recognizing my limits
How a Sonic fan is ending up managing an ambitious project with a dedicated community and an international team.
Zaz – You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
In an industry that constantly lauds auteurship and the solo developer, it can be easy to get wrapped up in the idea that you have to go at this alone to be a „true“ gamedev. Zaz talks about their experience trying to start out alone, before learning to build connections and a team to help you make the games you want to make.
